Refund and Return Policy (EU and Dutch Law Compliant)
At Mgels, we are committed to ensuring that you are fully satisfied with your purchases. If for any reason you are not, you have the right to return your goods or request a refund under the conditions outlined below, in line with EU and Dutch consumer protection regulations.
1. Right of Withdrawal (Herroepingsrecht)
Under EU law, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period will expire 14 days after the day you receive your goods or the day when a third party (other than the carrier) you have indicated receives the goods.
How to Exercise Your Right of Withdrawal:
To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision to cancel your order by making a clear statement (e.g., via email or letter). You can also use the model withdrawal form provided below, though it is not mandatory.

Once we are informed of your decision to cancel, you will need to return the goods to us within 14 days. You can send the goods back to the return address provided in our confirmation email.
2. Conditions for Return
- The product(s) must be unused, in the original packaging, and in the same condition as received.
- You are responsible for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods.
- Certain items cannot be returned due to hygiene reasons, such as opened hair products (wigs, extensions).
3. Exclusions from the Right of Withdrawal
The right of withdrawal does not apply to:
- Personalized or custom-made goods.
- Hygiene-related items, including opened hair products such as wigs or extensions.
- Gift cards.
- Items purchased on sale or promotional discounts, unless defective.
4. Refunds
If you withdraw from the contract, we will refund all payments received from you, including the cost of delivery (except for any supplementary costs if you selected a type of delivery other than the least expensive standard delivery option we offer). The refund will be processed within 14 days from the date we receive the returned goods or proof that you have returned the goods.
Refunds will be made using the same payment method you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise.
5. Return Shipping Costs
- If you are withdrawing from your purchase and returning the product due to a change of mind, you are responsible for paying the return shipping costs.
- If the product is faulty or incorrect, we will cover the return shipping costs.
We recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item if not trackable.
6. Damaged or Faulty Goods
If your item arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within 48 hours of receiving the goods at [email] with details and photos of the issue. We will arrange for a replacement or refund (including return shipping costs) as soon as possible.
7. Exceptions for Late Delivery
If the goods have not arrived within the expected delivery time, you have the right to cancel your order. In such cases, please contact us to arrange for a full refund.
8. Non-returnable Goods
For reasons of hygiene and safety, we cannot accept returns for:
- Opened hair products, such as wigs and extensions.
- Gift cards.
- Perishable goods.
9. Processing Time for Refunds
We will process refunds within 14 days of receiving the returned goods or receiving proof that the goods have been returned. Please note that your refund may take longer to appear in your bank account depending on your payment provider.
10. Your Obligations
- You are responsible for the condition of the goods after delivery and while in your possession.
- You are required to return the goods without undue delay and within 14 days of informing us of your decision to withdraw from the contract.
- You must bear the direct cost of returning the goods unless the goods were faulty or incorrectly delivered.
11. Late or Missing Refunds
If you haven’t received a refund yet:
- First, check your bank account or contact your payment provider (credit card company or bank) as it may take some time for the refund to appear.
